rainy days

During rainy days, orchids are very sensitive. While the rain is important to all plants because of the nutrients it gives, too much raining is not very good for orchids as far as my observation in my plants is concerned. Their leaves tend to become yellow and eventually wither and black spots appear sometimes in their leaves because of fungus. Pests are abundant during this time also because the leaves are always wet. Pests like aphids, milliphids and small bugs tend to enjoy living in damp leaves of orchids plant. They eat the roots of the orchids, so, if you will not notice it at once, the plant will surely wither and die.
